More about the Widowhood Conference

I haven't gotten back around to writing more about the Soaring Spirits Loss Foundation's National Conference on Widowhood last weekend, but if you don't read around on other widow(er)s' blogs, here's what they're saying about the weekend:

• Abby (The Alchemy of Loss): Imagining the Unimaginable at Soaring Spirits (and some thoughts after it upon getting home here)
• Mel (Making Tracks): Widows conference, really?
• Matt (Matt, Liz, and Madeline): last weekend. (and the one lone male widower brave enough forced to attend the conference ;o))
• Jackie (Mothering Nature): The National Conference on Widowhood (and her quick response about it immediately after arriving home here...although I think her pictures on Facebook from the weekend are by far the best proof of the fun we had! Alas, they're not public. ;o) )
• Andrea (Always Remember [andreareneeremembers.blogspot.com]): Whirlwind weekend!
• Janine (One Breath at a Time [txmomof6]): The prolific woman! =)

And almost best of all, Michelle D. has dubbed the conference weekend "Camp Widow." Love it, love it, love it! Cuz it really WAS like a fabulous sleepaway camp in many, many ways...only with booze! And restaurants! And room service! And your own hotel room...no communal showers! ;o)
